	Mathijs Lieshout (b.1975 The Netherlands) lives and works in Utrecht. Lieshout studied Fine Arts at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (1995-2000) and philosophy at Universiteit van Amsterdam (2000-2003).
